“The Boys of Fall” – McKinney Lions Football Highlights 2010
“Football as big as the state of Texas” and it doesn’t get any bigger than in this small town. This film was shot on location in and around the city of McKinney, Texas. The song “The Boys of Fall” was written by Casey Beathard and Dave Turnbull, and recorded by American country music artist Kenny Chesney. It was released in July 2010 as the lead single from his 12th studio album Hemingway’s Whiskey, which was released September 28, 2010. This film encompasses small town Americana and how football plays a large role in everyday living in this small town, from the local coffee shop, newspaper and barber shop to the halls of the high school. Football is the “talk of the town” and every Friday night during Football season, you can find everyone at the local stadium cheering on those “Boys of Fall” Produced and Directed by Chris McClintock of True Image Productions.
